Photos Of Heathfield Skatepark
Welcome to my photos of Heathfield Skatepark and the beautiful surrounding area, including a disused railway tunnel!
The skatepark was built on the site of the old Heathfield station in East Sussex, part of the old Cuckoo Line. Sadly now the nearest operational station is 8 miles away in Uckfield, so if you are not a local you need a car or bus to get to this park.
The park is great for skateboards, roller blades, quad skates and BMX's.
Sorry there are no photos of people using them, unless it's an official event I don't like photographing random strangers on things like that.
It's an interesting skatepark, it's very close to the town, but there is so much greenery it feels like you are out in the countryside, which two big exceptions, a huge railway tunnel on the north side and an old Cuckoo Line railway bridge on the south side. Both of those are now closed, but they are still interesting to see and photograph.
Heathfield Skatepark contains a back and forth run with wooden quarter pipes with decks, flat banks, a funbox and a rail.
The address for this skatepark is:
You could walk past the skate park and not even notice it, but if you find Heathfield old station (photo below and was part of the Cuckoo Line) then it is right opposite it. The skate park in Heathfield is maintained by the Parish Council.
