Hastings Pride Launch Party: Performers


Photos of the amazing performers taking part in the Hastings Pride launch party on Sunday the 28th of August 2016. This was a great event, not a full on Brighton Gay Pride style one, just a big launch party to announce that we were going to be having a proper Diversity / LGBT Pride event in August 2017.

Performers at the Hastings Pride launch party included poets, solo singers and groups: Alice Denny, Bobby Good, Charlie House, Earl Grey, Harley Fox, Jerri Leigh Brodie, Joe Marney, Nikki Bockerglory, Oresome Sounds, Peter Chowney, Pretentious Fox, Remi Vibesman, Sean Fennessey and friends, The Drag with no name, Trudy Howson and a few others I don't know the names of.

I was one of the official photographers and involved with some of the organising, which gave me really great access to get some really nice photos. I am going to be at the 2017 Hastings Pride, but just as a spectator this time as my healthy hasn't been up to being involved properly, but hopefully I might get involved with the 2018 one.

As always I shouldn't need to say this, but I will anyway! Just because somebody is attending Hastings Pride or performing at the event means nothing about their sexuality, there were people of all sexualities and genders, even a gender fluid pansexual photographer! ;)

We need to come together as a species and accept that we are all different, we need to understand and accept each other! Diversity is what makes us interesting, share the love, not the hate!!!
