1066 Walk Of The Dead Photos of Hastings Zombie Day 2017
Zombies, Dancers and even Zombie Dancers on Hastings Pier
Every year in the Hastings area of East Sussex we have many great events Jack in the green, Pirate day, Frost parade, Pride, May Day Run and so many others, but one of my favourites is definitely the 1066 Walk Of The Dead Or Hastings Zombie Day as a lot of people call it.
Each year we have met up at Hastings pier, normally a couple of hundred of us, all dressed as Zombies, well a few people wear other Halloween horror style costumes, but it is mostly Zombies!!! This year on the 28th of October at the start we had the people from the Tomboogie Exercise Classes there performing a really great dance routine to Michael Jackson's Thriller.
Before they all grouped together to do the walk, which was lead by the Section 5 Drummers, who were also in costume and sounding great as always. The walk went through the town centre and down to Hastings Old Town and then back to the pier. I only photographed the pre walk people on the pier, including my partner Helen and Squid The Dog, the Tomboogie dancers and Section 5 Drummers and the Zombies starting their walk along the seafront.
